Nutiva's Coconut Manna

While iHerb was having its rare sale, I decided to order a jar of Nutiva's Coconut Manna to try, since many people have been saying that it is a cheaper version of Artisana's Coconut Butter. Not having had proper smooth coconut butter for more than six months, I was waiting eagerly for my DHL package to arrive.

Ever since tasting Artisana's Coconut Butter (and consuming the whole jar in a week and a half), I have been wanting to eat more. I only had one jar though, and the same product costs almost twice as much in Singapore. Even though I could order a jar from iHerb.com, I was inspired by Melissa Joulwan to attempt homemade coconut butter.

When it comes to coconut products for consumption, the product that has received the most praise (to my knowledge) is Artisana's Raw 100% Organic Coconut Butter. You might be scratching your head at this point - is there a difference between coconut butter and coconut oil?
