One of my mother's favourite nut butters is Melrose's ABC Spread. "ABC" stands for almonds, brazils and cashews, and they make up 33%, 34% and 33% of the butter respectively.

Making apple chips with the Philips AirFryer
For a heck long time I have wanted a food dehydrator to make root vegetable chips like Terra's, to make snacks like dried okra and carrots, and "sundried" tomatoes for salads. The cheapest dehydrator in Singapore is an Ezi Dry; the smallest one with I think 5 trays is sold at Tangs S$218 and the bigger one is sold at S$318. I have seen an Excalibur at ToTT for more than S$600.

Quick Food
Every week or so, a thread appears on the exercise forums I visit asking for help on nutrition. Might be a college student with no cooking facilities, a working professional with no time to cook, or someone who is always on the road.
One of the quickest ways to get a Paleo meal is to pop into a supermarket for a rotisserie chicken and a bag of salad.

ReaLemon Lemon Juice
With all sorts of sugary carbonated beverages available for cheap, who really wants to drink plain old flat boring water? And even if water is free, sometimes it just does not taste so good.

What brought me to barefoot shoes
My feral feet
Early days
One of my earliest memories of running is in slippers, on grass, in our garden, racing my elder sister. Running, playing with a ball, climbing and cycling were activities that I did everyday for at least an hour. When my sister felt competitive, she would challenge me to races.
During primary and early secondary school, I did not wear the white canvas shoes that my schoolmates wore. My mother made me wear some other shoes with more breathable material because I suffered from eczema. It was only in late secondary school that my mother allowed me to wear those cavas shoes that everyone else wore, and I was excited to finally get to be like everyone else.

Sashimi
Salmon, swordfish and sweet shrimp sashimi
Within Cold Storage, Takashimaya near the fruit section is what looks like a mini Japanese stall, with rows of sashimi and beautifully made sushi on display. There is even a bar counter and a few seats for customers to eat the Japanese delicacies. If you are up for sashimi, a slicing service is provided free of charge - you need only select the type and cut of seafood you want, and pass it to the staff behind the counter.

A prosperous Chinese New Year to everyone!
This is a plate of some yu sheng from reunion dinner, consisting julienned shreds of carrot, cucumber and daikon, thin slices of salmon sashimi, bulbs of pomelo, a slice of caramelised orange peel, and crushed peanuts.
